Binge or Cringe: Radhika Apte’s Ghoul Is Dark, Disturbing And Addictive

Ghoul is Netflix’s first horror drama miniseries set in India which is mostly about religious profiling in the name of patriotism. Radhika Apte’s character, Nida is a part of NPS- National Protection Squad – a staunch nationalist in a government security agency that is in charge of counter terrorism.

Radhika, who was last seen in Netflix’ Lust Stories and Sacred Games, is fabulous as always. But with Ghoul, she is just one dark and depressed role away from becoming a DC universe character!

WATCH THE VIDEO below to find out whether we found the show to be bingeworthy or cringeworthy:

Ghoul is set in a totalitarian near-future India, where a mysterious prisoner is sent to a remote military interrogation center where he turns the tables on his captors by exposing their most shameful secrets and unleashing a demon from Arabic folklore.

Verdict: It’s not your edge of the seat thriller, there are no jump scares. And yet, you hang in there to find out what happens at the end. You’re intrigued by the confined settings. And most importantly, you want to know more about Ghoul.
